Carlos Paz Promoted to Executive Vice President of Corporate Development
On the Move: Carlos Paz, EVP of Corporate Development

I am pleased to announce that Carlos Paz has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Carlos has been instrumental in building and leading the Project Management Office (PMO), Integration Management Office (IMO), and Mergers and Acquisitions practice. Under his leadership, the organization has improved how it manages projects and integrates new customers into our operations. Furthermore, Carlos’s work has allowed Velocity to effectively integrate 5 acquired companies in the past 16 months, as well as continue improving how we govern the companies that we acquired previously. Carlos and his team have been an integral part of our efforts to implement structure and process and has led efforts on multiple key initiatives, such as the implementation of the first intranet for the company (VERN), the launch and governance of our Sales CRM/HubSpot, HITRUST/Cybersecurity program and establishing a quarterly business review process, and acquisition efforts.
Carlos joined Velocity in May 2020, bringing 20 years of experience in corporate planning, projects, and strategy. Before Velocity, Carlos was the vice president of planning and programs for the shared services organization for Extended Stay America. Prior to ESA, he was the director of portfolio management and strategy realization at Lowe’s Home Improvement.
As EVP of Corporate Development, Carlos will continue to lead the PMO and IMO efforts and be a key leader in the company’s ongoing acquisition and governance efforts.
