Velocity launched in 2005 when telecom-industry veteran Greg Kiley transitioned from selling long-distance phone service to providing companies with a more expansive telecommunications experience.
It didn’t take long for customers to realize that Velocity’s emerging technologies could significantly improve the way they communicate and do business. Soon, Velocity was servicing thousands of corporate, retail, and hospitality clients. Velocity’s offerings continue to grow—making life easier and more profitable for our customers. Now, with over 500 employees, Velocity is an unstoppable force.

2024
Achieves SOC2 certification, a cybersecurity compliance framework that specifies high standards of data security. It is also named a Starlink Authorized Reseller for Satellite Internet Powered by SpaceX
2023
Achieves HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year Certification for V-Select® Health Portal and launches Global Expense Management (GEM) through acquisition of RPA, AI and Machine Learning platform
2022
Velocity expands its footprint with a new headquarter and warehouse. It also enters a partnership with DataRemote as one of four companies to sell their industry leading POTS IN A BOX® solution
2021
Acquires EYE Corp Media to secure Velocity’s place in the OOH industry with a sales team to round out our expanding media network. It also enters into a partnership with Screenvision Media to deploy an in-lobby digital media network in movie theaters.
2020
Velocity rebrands and changes its name to: Velocity, A Managed Solutions Company, Inc. Velocity also continues to grow its Digital Signage division with the acquisition of Impax Media as well as CTI Solutions to strengthen Velocity’s in-house development capabilities of SaaS products for high-end digital media and content management solutions.
2019
Establishes a Digital Signage and Media division entering into the Advertising and Entertainment Industry and grows to 500 employees
2014
Begins repairing electronic devices and commercial photo printers for large retailers
2011
Velocity is awarded a trademark for V-SELECT, its proprietary Operational ERP and grows to 50 employees
2009
Enters into the hospitality industry by signing a voice and data agreement with Extended Stay Hotels
2008
Signs its largest retail customer with 5,000+ locations and introduces GGE (Global Gateway Exchange), its nationwide technician network
2006
Signs its first enterprise customer
